Curiosity caused Michael Magana from Kanyenyaini, a ne'erdo-well scheol-leaver, to involve himself in international intrigue with a highly organised gang of crooks who are illegally trying to corner the world's supply of uranium.

Although employed as a stooge, he upsets their movements and thwarts their specalist plans. more often by luck than good judgement, but the reward he gains in the end is not the reward of riches he set out to gain.

This is a detective story involving murder, love and international srnuggling against a background of London, Nairobi and Johannesburg. Michael Magana's involvement with experienced crooks and clever police brings him all kinds of semi- humorous scrapes. Out of which he usually emerges safely either with craft, good luck or a few bruises.
